Welcome to the Birdseekers Holiday brochure which features a range of birdwatching tours aimed at both beginners and experts alike, with an emphasis on seeing birds and wildlife well!

This has been another great year for Birdseekers with many tours running second departures due to the high level of demand. As our regular clients know we work with some of the very best local guides and this combined with our own expert leaders has given us a bird finding ability second to none. Indeed we pride ourselves on finding species that are difficult or seldom seen. As with previous years our brochure aims to provide choice from those tours where early mornings and travelling pay off by providing those special or difficult species to more easy paced holidays, staying in one hotel throughout the trip. There's something for everyone with Birdseekers.

Our ‘Specials' have proved unbelievably popular and as a result we have added several more destinations. These aim to offer slightly shorter duration tours to long haul destinations at incredibly good prices, but still keeping our high standards. It must be emphasised that we run our tours at prime times to maximise our chances of seeing particular species, we do not put on extra tours if it lessons our chances of seeing birds and wildlife in any way. So if your interested we recommend you book quickly to avoid disappointment. New destinations included a superb tour to Papua New Guinea in search of the spectacular ‘birds of paradise' - this tour already has a waiting list and will fill very quickly! We have re-designed our Uganda tour into a ‘special' to concentrate on Gorillas and the Albertine Rift Endemics, and we have also shortened our Kazakhstan which will prove very popular. Alongside our African ‘specials' which we will continue to run, we have also added a shorter break to Ecuador in search of hummingbirds and tanagers, amongst a wealth of other rainforest birds, and a Peru ‘special' which will be simply unbeatable as we take in the coast, high Andes and spectacular forests, as well as the famous Machu Picchu.

We believe that without exception we run the best tour to Costa Rica.We are going in March/April, a time of year when there are more migrants around than our usual January tour. If you want value for money and 500 species of birds then this trip has it all.
