Welcome to Mercury Direct’s selection of shorthaul summer holidays for this year. In
addition to Malta, Cyprus, Madeira and The Algarve, we have this summer added
the ever popular holiday island of Tenerife, where we offer a range of excellent
hotels at very good rates indeed.

And always on the lookout for new ideas that will appeal to our clients, we have
introduced two new programmes of cruises - one ship sails very
conveniently from London Tilbury offering Round Britain, Norwegian Fjord,
Midnight Sun and Baltic cruises while the other ship is based in Valletta, Malta,
and opens up the history and spectacle of the Eastern Mediterranean.
One thing, though, has not changed, and that is our commitment to value
holidays, at the best prices available.

For value, we stress that we sell direct to you thereby avoiding the travel agent’s
commission, often in excess of 15 per cent of the total holiday price.
As for quality, we sell only our own carefully selected holidays, those in which we
have confidence and which you rate as good or excellent in our questionnaires.
That is why we get more and more repeat bookings every year and why so many
new clients are introduced by friends who have travelled with us before.
