The British Red Cross publishes two free first aid apps for iOS and Android. The general app covers more than 20 first aid skills with step-by-step guides, videos and quizzes, including choking, heart attacks, seizures and burns.
The Baby and Child app covers 17 skills for parents and carers, with animations, a toolkit for recording a child’s medical details and advice on preparing for emergencies.
Both are free to download from the app stores via the British Red Cross first aid apps page, and the content works offline once installed, so there is nothing to pay and no subscription.
