Ikon Gallery occupies the Gothic former Oozells Street Board School in Brindleyplace, Birmingham, and puts on a changing programme of contemporary art by artists from around the world across two floors of gallery space.

Ikon’s own visit page states: “Entry to Ikon is free.” Donations are invited but nothing is required, and there is no membership scheme to join.

Opening days are Tuesday to Sunday plus bank holiday Mondays, 11am to 5pm. Just walk in – no booking needed.
