LEAF Open Farm Sunday is an annual, nationwide event run by the farming charity LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), giving families free access to working farms that are not normally open to the public.
Entry is free at the vast majority of participating farms, with activities on the day typically including farm walks, meeting the animals, tractor and trailer rides, pond dipping and other hands-on activities for children, though some sites ask visitors to book a free slot in advance.
