National Museum Cardiff, in the civic centre at Cathays Park, holds Wales’s national art collection alongside natural history and geology galleries, including one of Europe’s best Impressionist collections outside France.

The same free-entry principle runs across the family of national museums in Wales, including St Fagans National Museum of History and the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
