NHS Start for Life (formerly Start4Life) is a completely free email service offering NHS-approved advice for anyone expecting a baby or with a child up to four years old.

Sign up on the official nhs.uk site and choose the stage that applies to you – emails arrive weekly through pregnancy and the first 12 weeks after birth, then monthly after that, covering everything from your baby’s development to feeding, sleep and looking after your own wellbeing.

There is no charge at any point and no products to buy – it is a genuinely free, government-run support service for parents and parents-to-be.
