V&A Dundee stands on the Tay waterfront in a dramatic Kengo Kuma building, housing the Scottish Design Galleries – including Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s reconstructed Oak Room – plus changing design exhibitions.

The museum’s own visit page states “Free admission”, with the note that a paid ticket is required for some events. The permanent galleries cost nothing to enter.
