Lindum Heritage - Archaeology and History Short Breaks. Summer Training Excavation.

We started Lindum Heritage because we care passionately about our historic environment and want everyone to have the best opportunity to explore it. Lincolnshire is sometimes regarded of as the forgotten county of England, but the truth is that it has an enormous amount to offer in the areas of archaeology and history. Our short breaks will give you the chance to get to know the city and its surroundings while learning about aspects of the past that you are interested in.

At Lindum Heritage we are always trying to improve the already high quality of our courses and welcome comments and suggestions from participants. If you have an idea for a course that you would like to see us run please let us know. We are also able to arrange bespoke courses and tours for groups of any size, large or small.

We take our obligations to the county's heritage, environment and communities very seriously. As a result we have adopted a range of policies that guide our course planning and activities. These include sustainable tourism, environmental and disability access policies. A particular aspect of our approach is our involvement in, and support of, community-based heritage projects. We are a member of Lincolnshire Tourism, the Lincoln Millenium Guild, and a Corporate Friend of Lincoln Cathedral.
