About NCDL

The NCDL is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for thousands of lost and abandoned dogs every year.

Through our national network of rehoming centres we seek to find homes for stray and abandonded dogs, whilst practical campaigns aim to deal with the root of the problem. It is fundamental to our philosophy that a healthy dog is never destroyed and we are working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
