PERUVIAN CONNECTION CATALOGUE

At Peruvian Connection, we nurture a small group of talented designers who are inspired by everything from ancient Andean textiles to Turkoman carpets. Our designers work primarily in two luxury fibres, precious alpaca and Peruvian pima cotton. In a palette of some 150 colours and a daunting repertoire of knit and crochet stitches, they create detailed sketches that then travel to South America. There, skilled Andean knitters translate the designs into finished sweaters, often drawing on a lifetime of experience. The knitters who knit Peruvian Connection designs are the product of an ancient Andean textile tradition. Virtuosos in their craft, they sometimes manage 40 different colours at a time while following the most complex asymmetric pattern.

Countless hours go into many of the art knit garments you will see in the Peruvian Connection catalogue. Choose from a stunning range of sweaters for both ladies and men, knitted dresses, skirts, tunics and throws - available in sizes XS to XL. And to complete the range there is also a selection of fashion jewellery based on traditional ethnic designs.
