The Blue Cross has been helping animals for over 100 years. It was founded in 1897 when a group of concerned people met to form a society "for the encouragement of kindness to animals". Today, through our network of adoption centres, animal hospitals and equine centres we care for and find loving new homes for thousands of animals every year.
