The Crystal Dive brochure from Specialist Holidays Group (TUI UK) marked the launch of an expanded dive programme, introducing new holiday destinations alongside a wider range of European short break options for divers.

New Dive Destinations

The relaunched programme added four new dive holiday locations: Sardinia, Oman, Cape Verde and Kenya. Alongside these, a selection of European short break dive holidays was offered, giving divers more choice than ever before.

Sardinia

Described as Europe's best kept dive secret, Sardinia boasts some of the most breath-taking beaches and dive sites in Europe. Divers could explore sunken Roman galleys and an underwater labyrinth of caves and tunnels, with the island catering for every dive holiday need. Three four-star properties were added to the Sardinia programme for 2008.

Oman

Often referred to as the 'new Dubai', Oman is a hidden jewel both above and below the water. Its unspoilt beauty and unique flora and fauna are best discovered when guests take the plunge. The programme featured a variety of short breaks as well as week-long stays in Muscat and Salalah. The brand new Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat, which first opened in 2006, sits on the bay of Barr Al Jissah within 124 acres of landscaped gardens against a dramatic mountain backdrop, comprising three top class hotels: the Al Waha, the Al Bandar and the Al Husn.

European Short Dive Breaks

The programme included a selection of European short break dive holidays to Spain, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta, Gozo and now Sardinia, offering more choice of short-haul diving holidays than ever before.
