Travelpack combined two of India's most celebrated destinations into a single brochure dedicated to Goa and Kerala. Voted the UK's favourite tour operator to the Indian sub-continent in 2006 by Selling Longhaul, Travelpack drew on 25 years of experience to offer tailor-made holidays across both regions.
The brochure was designed to suit many different travellers, with Travelpack tailoring each holiday to individual needs. The combined edition included 13 new properties in Goa and 14 in Kerala, alongside favourites from the previous year and a few exciting new tours.
Travelpack offered direct charter flights from Manchester and Gatwick to Goa, plus flights from over 12 scheduled airlines from 14 local UK airports.
Goa is a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India, popular for its golden beaches, culture, fantastic seafood and laid-back atmosphere. It is also a great place for an exotic wedding, with a package covering a local wedding specialist, solicitor services, documentation, legal fees, court fees, registrar fees, transportation to venue, the wedding ceremony, music, Indian sweets or wedding cake and wedding flowers.
North Goa offers idyllic white sandy beaches and tropical waters, plus a lively nightlife of restaurants, a night bazaar, bars, pubs and discos. It tends to attract a younger crowd and offers affordable accommodation as well as high-category and five-star options. South Goa is predominantly virgin countryside with untouched white sandy beaches stretching for over 15 miles, fringed by lush greenery and coconut trees, and is quieter and less commercialised than the north.
Kerala, known as god's own country, offers long shorelines, serene beaches, tranquil emerald backwaters, lush hill stations, exotic wildlife, waterfalls, sprawling plantations, paddy fields, historic monuments, culture, exotic cuisine and Ayurvedic health holidays, with everything within roughly a two-hour drive. A cruise on a traditional houseboat along the backwaters reveals breathtaking views and otherwise inaccessible rural Kerala.
The equable climate and natural abundance of forests make Kerala ideal for sampling Ayurveda's curative and restorative therapies, as it is the only State in India that practises this system with absolute dedication. New tours added for adventurous travellers included 'Kerala Tea, Spices, Mountains & Backwaters', 'Glimpses of Kerala' and the 'Deccan Odyssey' luxury train journey.
