Wine Share Catalogue

WineShare Ltd offered a distinctive way to enjoy fine wine: members rented a row of vines in one of the company's award-winning vineyards in France or Italy, then bought the wines made for them at member's prices.

How WineShare Worked

With WineShare, your rented row of vines was genuinely there waiting for you to visit. Members could collect their wine at the vineyard itself, from the company's warehouse in Calais, or have it delivered to their door in the UK or further afield. Visitors were welcome to take part in the harvesting of the grapes and even drink the young wine straight from the vats.

Vineyards and Wines

WineShare drew on four different wine-making regions across two long-established wine-making countries. Whether members fancied a Castle in Italy, a Chateau in Beaujolais, a Domaine in Duras or a Provencal paradise, there was a vineyard and a wine to suit.

  • Four vineyards across France and Italy
  • Wine in three colours and basic styles: red, white, rose, sparkling and dessert
  • Both standard and deluxe wines produced
  • Over two dozen different wines from only £2.96 a bottle, collected in Calais

Membership Benefits

A WineShare subscription was the gateway to 'owning' your own little piece of France or Italy. Members could join other like-minded enthusiasts at the many social events organised in the UK, France and Italy. Free membership of the Ferry Travel Club was also included, offering discounted travel across and under the Channel along with bargain breaks in France.
