Idyllic Islands of Africa - We, Witney Travel, have dealt with Portugal for countless years and it seemed logical to follow the historical route to Portuguese speaking Africa, of course long freed from the yoke of Colonial power, but still retaining the language and some fine buildings from that time. The areas we have examined so far, are Mozambique, and in particular the Islands just off-shore, namely Inhaca Island and two of the Islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago, the Islands of São Tomé e Principe, off the coast of Gabon and finally the Cape Verde Islands well out into the Atlantic some 460kms from the coast of Senegal in West Africa.
Why these places you may well ask? We believe that our Clients are adventurous, at least to a degree, and would appreciate the sights, tastes and smells of somewhere exotic. Not many British have yet ventured to these destinations and now is the opportunity! It is not so easy to get to these places; it requires at least one change of aircraft and may finish with a tiny aircraft or speed boat! Just consider if it were that easy, these places would be overrun by, dare I say, gruesome tourists! So hurry as it will not be long before they arrive!
