Barwell Travel - Classic Resorts Newsletter

Barwell Travel - Classic Resorts, from Leisure Fare Ltd, presented a portfolio of luxury worldwide holidays hand-picked to help travellers escape and create their own paradise. Having pioneered travel and holidays to the award-winning La Manga Club in Spain back in 1970, the company later added exclusive choices in Dubai, Mauritius, South Africa, North America and the Caribbean, amongst other elite worldwide destinations.

A Portfolio of Luxury Resorts

Barwell Travel offered an extensive portfolio of luxurious resorts in some of Europe's finest locations, alongside destinations further afield to excite and enthuse. The collection featured many of the world's most exquisite choices in a range of privileged locations.

  • A 15th century Italian Palazzo
  • A secluded Caribbean hideaway
  • A beach-front Mauritian bungalow with views across the pristine Indian Ocean

The very nature of a resort means guests are blessed with ample space within which to unwind and find inner calm. Some resorts provided luxury townhouses and private villas as an alternative to hotel accommodation.

On-Site Leisure and Activities

The majority of resorts boasted an array of on-site leisure activities to suit any holiday mood, including:

  • A round of golf
  • An hour on the tennis court
  • A sumptuous spa treatment
  • A mini club session for children

Cruises and Additional Arrangements

For those seeking a water-based adventure, sister company BAway Cruises offered exclusive cruise packages for experienced and novice cruisers alike. A strong relationship with the major cruise lines enabled access to cruise deals and offers, with a highly experienced team who had personal experience of each cruise line and had sailed on 90% of the ships featured in the portfolio. Additional arrangements such as flights or pre- and post-stay accommodation were also available, working with all the major airlines and offering competitive prices on hotels worldwide.
