Over forty years ago a certain Mr Malcolm Grey decided to leave his job with House of Hardy in Alnwick and set up his own separate rod building operation nearby. Greys of Alnwick was born, and quickly set about creating a reputation for building top quality fishing rods that were unique in their quality, style and value. Today, at the dawn of a new century we find events turning a full circle, with our company recently having been taken over by House of Hardy.

This new marriage of companies allows Greys to expand and develop with production facilities that rank among some of the finest in the world.

A dedicated team of people, many of whom have devoted a large part of their working lives to producing top quality fishing equipment, ensure that the quality of product leaving the factory stands up to the best in the world.
