Richardsons Norfolk Holiday Village Brochure

Seacroft Holiday Village, operated by Richardson Leisure Limited, was a grown-ups-only catered holiday retreat set in Hemsby, a traditional seaside resort on Norfolk's magnificent east coast. Located just a leisurely 10-minute walk from the beach and seven miles north of Great Yarmouth, Seacroft offered a warm, friendly atmosphere with comfortable accommodation and a packed programme of daytime and evening entertainment. Richardson's, a family-run business with roots stretching back to post-war Norfolk, built a reputation for quality, value-for-money holidays delivered with genuine personal care.

Accommodation and Catering

Seacroft Holiday Village provided a range of basic yet comfortable catered accommodation in chalets, apartments and caravans. Guests could choose between full-board and half-board options, meaning meals were taken care of so visitors could focus entirely on relaxing and enjoying everything the village had to offer. The grown-ups-only policy created a peaceful, sociable environment where guests could unwind at their own pace.

Entertainment and Activities

Evening and daytime entertainment was a centrepiece of the Seacroft experience. The programme included live music, comedy acts, bingo, quizzes, dancing and more, ensuring there was always something to look forward to. Themed breaks were a particular highlight, with popular events such as Back to the 60s weekends, Ultimate Line Dance breaks, and special Christmas and New Year stays attracting guests year after year.

Onsite Facilities

Beyond the entertainment programme, Seacroft offered a wide range of onsite facilities to keep guests active and engaged. These included tennis courts, indoor and outdoor bowls, and snooker - all geared towards a leisurely pace that suited the grown-ups-only ethos. The proximity to Hemsby beach and the broader Norfolk coast meant guests also had easy access to coastal walks, local pubs, and the attractions of nearby Great Yarmouth.

About Richardson Leisure Limited

Richardson Leisure Limited is a long-established, family-run Norfolk business with a history going back to the years following the Second World War, when founder Robert Richardson Jnr began a modest boat-hire operation on the Broads. Over the decades the company expanded into holiday parks, becoming one of Norfolk's best-known independent holiday operators. Seacroft Holiday Village was acquired by Richardson's in 1998 when they purchased the former Pontins site adjacent to their Hemsby Beach Holiday Village, and the park subsequently underwent a programme of refurbishment before being operated as the grown-ups-only catered village described in this brochure.
