Social Services provided my disable husband with a walker to support him while he moved around the house, but the handles on it were too wide to go through his average sized doorframes without him catching his knuckles, so they took it away again and we havent heard another thing from them. Yet in CareCo was the ideal walker which will fit through a doorway with room to spare. I scanned and sent the details to Social Services, but so far, a deafening silence. It looks very much as my husband will have to buy his own walker, but guess where he will be getting it from. There are also lots of other helpful equipment which he probably will also buy. A brilliant company that stocks things even Social Services cannot find to provide for needy people.
